Capri, Italy

An impressive chunk of stone jutting up from within the Bay of Naples,
Capri is famed for its rugged landscape, upscale beach resorts, high-end shopping, and little beachside cafés where a traveller can sit, sip signature limoncello liqueur, and watch beautiful people pass by.

Beloved by poets and Jackie O alike, Capri is an icon of glamour
(both a certain cut of pants and a certain style of sandal bear its name) but even the sheen of celebrity can’t outshine its natural beauties. One of its best-known natural sites is the Blue Grotto, a dark cavern where the sea glows electric blue, the result of sunlight passing through an underwater cave.
